The Certifed Laughter Yoga Leader training is scheduled for September 13-14, 2014 (Saturday and Sunday). I am excited to offer this opportunity to the Northwest Georgia community. Registration information is on the attached brochure. Contact me if you have any questions.
I really do love to laugh. I entered the American Laughter Contest at the Atlanta Conference in May 2014. I posted the picture of the group at the top of the page. I really did have to laugh my heart and soul out. I made it into the top 5. It felt so good to laugh loudly and proudly. It was like I pulled the energy all the way up from my toes. The judge said I had the best "Alabama Knee Slapper" laugh. I recommend laughing your heart out whenever you get the chance. Your whole body will thank you.
I am so excited about this journey of laughter. You know how it feels when something just feels rights. That is how I have connected with Laughter Yoga. As a social worker, my philosphy has been to help people any way I can and always looking for the most effective solutions. With laughter I am seeing such positive impacts on other people's lives. This just fits.
And, as I am getting older, I have much more motivation toward wellness. Laughter is such an easy way to improve both health and spirit. I have been laughing everyday for the past 6 months, and I feel better than I have in quite a while. I laugh for 10 minutes every morning and it is a glorious way to start each day! As I move through this journey, I invite you to come along. Laugh with me! |
