
I am a certified Laughter Yoga Leader and Teacher. I obtained my initial leader training in 2012. I received my teacher certification from Dr. Madan Kataria in 2013.
I am recently retired. My profession was social work. I have both a bachelor's and a master's degree in Social Work. I have over 30 years of social work experience with all age groups. I am also a trained facilitator in strategic planning.
I was very intrigued about laughter yoga the first time I heard about it several years ago. I love to laugh and the idea of laughing for health made sense to me. I was hooked at that first training. After spending the first day in the workshop, laughing most of the day, I was totally energized. When I got home that evening, I cleaned the whole house, then slept better than I had in a very long time. I knew then, that laughter really does impact our health and well-being.
I have been facilitating laughter sessions for various groups since 2012. My goal is to spread laughter and teach others to reduce stress and improve wellness.
SERVICES AVAILABLE
1. Free introductory sessions for groups (30 minutes or less).
2. Weekly or monthly laughter yoga sessions (45 minutes to one hour). Fee-based.
3. Individual laughter yoga and happiness coaching (8 - 30 minute sessions) Fee-based.
4. Worksite Wellness programs.(30 minutes up to 2 hours). Designed to meet business needs. Fee-based.
5. Laughter Yoga Leader Certification training (2 days). Scheduled once or twice a year.
6. One day workshop on integrating laughter yoga practice into your professional work or personal life (6 hours).
